Next Wednesday the journey starts, I will fly to Bali with the KLM from Amsterdam. It will be an exciting period ahead. The first night I will stay in Kuta at the Bakungs Beach Hotel/Resort www.bakungbeach.com. I booked the hotel and flight through Corendon a tour operator, which was cheaper than booking a standalone KLM flight. I will only stay one night in the hotel before I will travel to the North of Bali to see some villas.
Mainly I will be east of Singaraja close to Air Sanih or west of Singaraja around Lovina. The appointments to visit the villas on the list, around 20 houses, are made. The question is are they as nice as on the pictures, are there any maintenance issues, is the location excellent, are the views stunning, etc. In short, I have to be there to see if the journey of buying a villa will start. The proof of the pudding is in the eating; I guess that will be the case here as well.
